The 10 mL volume is suited for research environments where multiple reconstitution events are performed across numerous experimental workflows, reducing per-use costs and simplifying diluent inventory management.

Each lot is produced in accordance with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards encompassing sterility, bacterial endotoxin levels, particulate matter, and chemical purity. In laboratory settings, bacteriostatic water serves as a standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilized peptides, proteins, and other sensitive biological research reagents where sterility and chemical inertness are required.
